Zion Oil & Gas

John Brown began a journey of faith in January of 1981.  John was attending Zion Temple in Clawson, MI.  when a man named Jim Spillman, who was a guest speaker,  shared his belief that oil is to be discovered in Israel.                                                                                          Spillman based this on the scriptures concerning God’s unconditional covenant given to Abraham and his descendants.  As well as on the scriptures of Jacob’s last blessing to his sons.  And finally, scriptures showing how Moses also passed on the blessings of Jacob to the tribes of Israel.  Deut. 32: 9 & 13 is a powerful example of evidence.

“For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the lot of His inheritance.  He                               made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase                         of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of                               the flinty rock.”

John believed Spillman was specifically sent to share his message for him to hear.  Not only to hear, but to capture the vision and fulfill his God ordained destiny.  He firmly believes that he was created by God to help fulfill prophecies given regarding the discovery of oil in Israel.  John Brown became the founder and CEO of Zion Oil & Gas.                                      In 1983 John found himself in Israel as he stepped out in faith.  When there, he received the following Word from God.

“Moreover, concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but comes                           out of a far country for thy name’s sake; (for they shall hear of thy great                                   name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched arm;) when he shall come                       and pray toward this house; Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do                           according to all that the stranger calls to thee for:  that all the people of the                           earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; . . .”                                             (1 Kings 8: 41-43)

John had received his confirmation from the Lord.  I met John in Orlando in April of this year.  We had a light chat for about 15 minutes.  He struck me as a man of great humility and great faith.  And I’ve since come to learn he has a big heart for souls.  The Kingdom needs many more like him.                                                                                                                                                   After reading his booklet, “The Oil of Israel: Prophecy Being Fulfilled”, I shared his vision with my intercessory prayer group.  He and Zion Oil are now a priority on our weekly prayer meeting.  I too believe he will discover oil very soon, because I believe it is the oil necessary for the Psalm 83 War.
