The Psalm 83 War

On July 26, 2006 an ancient copy of a book of Psalms was found in an Irish Bog.  Only one Psalm in the entire book was found unmarred and unblemished – it was Psalm 83.  This prophetic Psalm was written by Asaph the Seer during King David’s reign.  It speaks of a time when Israel’s neighbors are plotting her complete extermination.  Verses three through five read like today’s news.

“They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together                    against your sheltered ones.  They have said, ‘come, and let us cut them off from            being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.’   For they              have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You.”

Note the underlined segments.  Some of you may not be aware, that until 1948 there was never a nation of Israel.  In ancient times the 12 tribes were divided among two kingdoms;  The kingdom of Israel to the north, comprised of ten tribes – and the kingdom of Judah to the south, comprised of the two tribes of Benjamin and Judah.                                                                   There are a number of scriptures that prophecy of Israel becoming a nation in the last days (Ezek. 34: 13 / Ezek. 37:21 & 22 / Isa. 66:8 / Amos 9:14 & 15 /Jer. 16:14 & 15). Now Israel became a nation in conjunction with last century’s first Tetrad (A Tetrad is 4 consecutive lunar eclipses, or, blood red moons, with each occurring on a Jewish Feast Day).  She regained the city of Jerusalem in conjunction with last century’s second Tetrad.  We believe that the Psalm 83 war will erupt in conjunction with the current Tetrad of 2014-2015 (see article titled, “Last Days Time Line” – In the Files Section)

So who are these that have consulted together to eliminate Israel?  Picking up where we left off, they are identified in verses six through eight.

“The tents of Edom (Palestinians & Southern Jordanians), and the Ishmaelites                  (Saudis); Moab (Palestinians & Central Jordanians), and the Hagarites(Egyptians);         Gebal (Hezbollah & Northern Lebanese), Ammon (Palestinians & Northern                         Jordanians), and Amalek (Arabs of the Sinai); Philistia (Hamas of the Gaza Strip),           with the inhabitants of Tyre (Hezbollah & Southern Lebanese), Assyria (Syria &               Northern Iraq) also has joined with them;”

Now the Jews have never possessed the entire ‘Promised Land’.  God said, speaking to Abraham in Genesis 15:18.

“To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt (Nile) tothe              great river Euphrates.”

One look at a map of the territories inhabited by these conspirators pretty much covers all of the Promised Land.  Picking up at verse nine and going to the end of the Psalm we see what God does to this pack of Muslim aggressors.

“Deal with them as with Midian (refers to Gideon and his 300 who slew 105 thousand    Midianites), as with Sisera (captain of the Canaanites, slain by a women named              Jael with a tent spike driven through his head), as with Jabin at the Brook of                    Kishon, who perished at En Dor, who became as refuse on the earth (refers to King        Jabin of the Canaanites slain by the Hebrew army of Barak after which, the                        Canaanites were no more), . . . their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb (killed by Gideon’s           men). . . princes like Zebah and Zalmunna (two kings of the Midianites killed by               Gideon), [those] who said, ‘Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God for                        possession.” (The Koran even acknowledges that God gave this land to the                        Hebrews, yet these Muslims dare challenge God!)

So this is how God will reward their arrogance! (continuing. . . )

“. . . God make them like whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind!  As the fire            burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, so pursue them with      Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm.  Fill their faces with shame, that        they may seek Your name, O Lord. (Is this the death of Islam?).  Let them be                      confounded and dismayed forever; yes, let them be put to shame and perish, that          men may know that You, Whose name alone is Lord (It certainly isn’t Allah), are the      Most High over all the earth.”

And as if that didn’t sound definitive and complete enough, there are more scriptures that clarify how God’s patience with Islam has run out.  Let’s start with Ezek. 25:13-17.

“Therefore thus says the Lord; I will also stretch out My hand against                                      Edom (Palestinians & South Jordanians), cut off man and beast from it, and                      make it desolate. . . Dedan (Saudi Arabia) shall fall by the sword.  I will lay My                  vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, that they may do in Edom                according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance      says the Lord God. . . Because the Philistines (Hamas) dealt vengefully and took              vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy because of the old hatred, therefore. . . I    will stretch out My hand against the Philistines and I will cut off the Cherithites              (Hamas of the Gaza strip) and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.  I will execute           great vengeance on them with furious rebukes, and they shall know that I am                   Lord, when I lay My vengeance upon them.”

The old hatred, means the have held a grudge from the long lost past and spent all their generations doing nothing else but trying to get revenge.  They shall know that I am Lord speaks of the time in the future when they will be shown that Allah is a false god, which correspond with Psalm 83:18.  Next is Isa. 17: 1, 3, 13 & 14.  These verses point out that the oldest remaining inhabited city, Damascus, will finally meet its end and so will the nation of Syria.

“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap. . . The      kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria; they will be as the glory of the        children of Israel. . . But God will rebuke them and they will flee away, and be                  chased like the chaff of the mountains before the wind, like a rolling thing before          the whirlwind. “(as in Psalm 83:13).   “. . . behold, at evening, trouble!  And before        the morning he (Syria) is no more.”

Isa. 19: 16-19 again speaking of the last days, is pretty much self-explanatory and amazing.

In that day Egypt will be like women, and will be afraid and fear because of the              waving of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which He waves over it.  And the land of            Judah (Israel) will be a terror to Egypt; everyone who makes mention of it will be          afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts which He has                          determined against it.  In that day, five cities in the land of Egypt will speak the               language of Canaan (Hebrew) and swear by the Lord of hosts; one will be called               the City of Destruction.  In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of       the land of Egypt and a pillar to the Lord at its border.

Finally, there is Ezek.28:  and Ezek.36:   These speak of the conditions existing in the land of Israel, after she has defeated and subdued her aforementioned neighbors, and greatly expanded her borders.  First Ezek. 28: 25-26.

“Thus says the Lord God; When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples      among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the                  Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob.          And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards, yes they will            dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise             them.  Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God.”

And then Ezek. 36: 8-11

“But you O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches andyield your           fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come.  For indeed I am for you, and I       will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown.  I will multiply men upon you, all       the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.  I       will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bear young;                I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than at your              beginnings.  Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”

Israel now becomes the prosperous and ruling power of the Middle East.  And these are the exact conditions that attract Russia and her Arabian allies to mount an assault upon her.  It is known as the ‘War of Gog and Magog’ or, the ‘Ezekiel 38 & 39 War’.  It is the final event to take place before the Rapture (if it hasn’t already happened) and in fact, the two events could be simultaneous!
